Live Blue faced Liecester Export to the Netherlands

This month LDS successfully exported 5 performance recorded Blue Faced Liecester Shearling ewes and one performance recorded shearling ram to Holland.

The purchaser was Mr Harry de Vliegher, a prominent dutch Charollais sheep breeder. He can see great potential in Blue Faced Leicester sheep in Europe, and has therefore started the newly named Absdael flock with Logie Durno genetics.

Harry has worked along with LDS importing Charollais sheep to Holland for many years now. It is an exciting prospect to see how the new flock wil do.
