Two of the best breeding ewes at Logie Durno are ZNN 5518 and 5502. Both very similar bred Ensign daughters going back to ZNN 4031, one of our two original ET bred ewes born in 1994 out of the infamous Queen `o`the ring x Hannibal line. A lot of the best ewes and rams from the Logie Durno flock are progeny or descendants of 5518 or 5502.
In 2010 there was progeny or grand progeny from ZNN 5502 reaching 5,100gns and 1,200gns, and in 2011 the top 4 shearling ewes descending from her averaged 1,837gns. While 5518 has had 8,200gns, 2,400gns, 2,200gns and Champion at the premier sale 2011. Plus her first four shearling ewes sold in 2011 averaged 1,517gns.
